Just when it seemed that things were returning to some semblance of normality, with meetings being held, albeit in a somewhat reduced manner, circumstances have contrived to once again frustrate our best efforts. The Government’s new ‘Rule of Six’ directive means that for the foreseeable future all masonic meetings are allowed no more than 6 attendees.
This means that until further notice no lodges of instruction, committee meetings or social gatherings will take place at Slough Masonic Centre. Lodges / Chapters and other units will be able to hold regular meetings with 6 members present in order to conduct any necessary lodge business such as the balloting for proposed new candidates and suchlike. There will be no dining facility and the bar will remain closed.
Should your unit wish to go ahead with a reduced meeting you need only communicate with the new centre Secretary, Gary Brodie , and the building will be made available to you. He can be contacted at
Telephone: 01753 522278
Thank you in anticipation for your patience and understanding in these somewhat difficult times, stay safe and I very much look forward to seeing you all in the not too distant future.
Yours sincerely and fraternally
Chairman , Slough Masonic Centre
